Alben Lane Candle Co.

With scents inspired by memories made on the East Coast of Canada, it only made sense to photograph the co-founders of Alben Lane in places that captured the essence of their story. We started in their studio to capture the action of candle production, giving a behind-the-scenes look at the care that goes into their hand-poured products. After a quick stop for some dreamy portraits in a meadow of flowers, a sunset at Crystal Crescent beach delivered everything we needed for a breezy picnic and joy-filled frolicking. The vibes were carefree, nostalgic, and cinematic – intentionally planned to take viewers into Jesse and Becca’s childhood memories of growing up by the ocean. We delivered a diverse gallery that painted a picture of the journey of Alben Lane, and the dynamic relationship of the besties-turned-business partners that brought their dreams to life.
